Welcome to this month’s newsletter, we have a lot of news for September & October, as part of this month’s newsletter the MVHA would like to say Congratulations to Michelle Large for her First Place finish at the Mingo Creek Judge Trail Ride; Michelle was HIGH POINT winner with a score of 98.9. There will be a cookout on September 26th, at the Baker Farm. The cookout will be held at 4:30 pm; the price is $5 for members and $7 for non-members, kids 10 & under is free. Please RSVP to Nancy Baker at 724-356-7354, no later than September 24th.

The FUN SHOW is scheduled for October 16th, at 10 am till 4pm, with a cookout to follow the show. The show will take place at the Baker Farm.  The FUN SHOW is free for members and their families only, Non-members must pay $7, for the cookout, everyone is asked to bring a covered dish or desert for a family. Please contact Judy Buckler at 724-356-2761 with what you will be brining to the cookout. This is a day fro all to be silly and have a good time we hope to see everyone there. Please RSVP by October 8th, if you are going to be riding in the fun show and coming to the cookout, please call Judy Buckler, Sharon Doman 412-217-4009 or Pam Spaniol at 412-262-0879. The club will be supplying the soft drinks for the FUN SHOW. The MVHA would also like to thank Marlene Ludman for her hard work on the ribbons and getting them done so quickly. There will also be applications at the FUN SHOW to join the MVHA. The annual Halloween Party at the Baker Farm will be held on October 30th, there is possibility of a Horseback Costume Ride the day of the Halloween Party time & further details will be in next month’s newsletter. Also in this month’s newsletter is a tentative list of the events for the FUN SHOW.

UP COMING TRAIL RIDES: Meet at sites 10:30 am,   ride out at 11 am.                    

 1) Sept. 26th – Bavington or Farm Ride, Cookout to follow at Baker Farm at 4:30 pm.

 2) Oct.3rd - Raccoon Park or Farm Ride

 3) Oct. 10th, – Over Hill and Dale Ride, check in is 10 am, leaves 11am sharp. This is approximately a 3 hour ride. There will be a cookout after the ride, please RSVP Mickey at 724-267-4603 if you are planning on attending.

 4) Oct. 16th, – THE FUN SHOW, cookout to follow at 4pm please RSVP by October 8th.

5) October 17th, Harrison Hills, Judge Trail Ride

6) October 24th, Ride at Paul Bakers (campout)?

7) October 30th, Halloween Party at Baker Farm (time to be determined). The Halloween Party is free to members and their families.
